FERROVIARIO da Beira retained their Mozambican National League trophy on Saturday, after sweeping CD Maxaquene 3-0 in the five-game series.
Beira’s 69-66 win over Maxaquene in game three set up a third national title in a row and an eighth overall title for the Locomotivas.
Import players Joshua Thomas and Ke Tarrious Bouchum made the All-Star Five. Bouchum was named the finals MVP.
The championship win will serve as extra motivation for Beira as they prepare for their fourth Road to BAL campaign next month.
