AWARD-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o announced on social media on Thursday that she has invested in Kenya’s elite basketball club, the Nairobi City Thunder.
Nyong’o’s investment in the Thunder comes as the back-to-back domestic champions are one of the rumoured bidders for the 10 Basketball Africa League permanent franchises.
The Thunder are currently involved in the finals of the Kenya Basketball National League and lead the series 2-0.
