MOROCCO’S domestic league will have a new name after the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Basketball (FRMBB) signed an agreement with the food and hygiene products company, Dislog Group.
Formerly known as the Division Excellence, the Atlas nation’s domestic basketball league will now be known as the Dislog Basketball League. The agreement between the national federation and Dislog will focus on developing and growing the game in the country.
The 12-team Moroccan league has already gotten underway, with all teams having played two games. MAS Fes, last year’s league champions, FUS Rabat, Wydad Casablanca and AS Sale are all unbeaten after two rounds.
